Sold as found – totally unrestored as desired by collectors.
Very Pretty
This one looks to have been made between 1850-1900 with dovetailed hand beaten copper sheeting and smith made peens. A great old highly collectable copper pan that probably was made in France. While the interior looks dirty, I see no traces of green or copper coming through, so the tin plating is probably still fine for cooking.
No markings.

Absolutely gorgeous!
This might well be one of the oldest copper pieces I’ve found as the handle style suggest it is at least 150 years old. Dovetailed bottom, smith made beaten handle that looks like copper, but could be bronze, handmade peens. Very heavy piece weighing almost 3 1/2 pounds. Probably French in origin. I have not even cleaned it, but it looks like the tinning on the bottom is good but the sides probably should be redone.
No markings

Item 1873
Sold as found but looks like it just needs a good cleaning to be used.
Havard made copper pans in Normandy starting in 1865 through at least the 1960s. I think this is bit of a later one based on the brass handle, machine made peens, and that there are no telltale signs of dovetailing. Bottom is hand hammered. I’d date the pan to 1940-1965 based on my knowledge, but there is definitely little wiggle room of about a decade or two. 2mm thick walls. Should be a great user.
Marked “Havard Made in France” up on the wall near the handle.

This is an old copper primary pot with distilling lid. While the body could be used as standard cooking pot it is thin bodied and coppered on the interior (not tinned) as it was used to help purify the spirits produced in the boiling of mash, or botanicals (for making extracts). Not a complete still set up, just the main part. There is no thump tank or worm to complete the process. This was probably made and used around the prohibition era at the latest and could predate that based on construction. Looks like it could be put back to use tomorrow. Large piece
Unmarked
Stands 12” tall without hood, 11”1/2 diameter. Hood is approximately 6” 1/2 tall and conical with a ~ 8” 34 nozzle for distillates. Looks to connect to a standard 1/2” flare fitting (but I have not verified that”

Item 1877
Sold as found not sure about the tinning on this one, as it’s pretty dirty, but it is an oldie for sure.
Gorgeous copper sauce pan, probably made in France. Certainly a well loved piece as it has two sets of numbers on it – numbers were thought to the the markings of chefs who brought their own pots to restaurants where they worked, and denoted that the pot was owned by that chef. Pieces with more than once set of numbers are believed to be piece that were handed down. As this piece has two numbers, this may well be the case. Based on the cast iron handles, hand made peans – suggest that this is from 1900-1930. Looks like it was re-tinned at least once as you can see some drips of tin on the interior. 2mm thick walls. Should be a great user.

Very Cool piece!!
One of the oldest copper pieces I’ve found. Handle style suggest it is at least 150 years old. Dovetailed bottom (made in two pieces), smith made beaten handle that looks like copper, but could be bronze, with handmade peens. Handle has the markings “00” on it which many believe are owner marks. Very heavy piece weighing almost 3 1/2 pounds. Probably French in origin. I have not even cleaned it, but it looks like the tinning on this one is pretty good and may not need to be redone.
Marked “00” on the handle.

The Elite was Tagus’s highest end line of copper cookware made from the 1970s. HTe combine the best of copper and aluminum for cooking. Has some scratches and scrapes, but just needs some polishing, and a good wash to be beautiful. Brass handles. Good display pieces, decent cookers.
