Beautiful BSR chef skillet c. 1940-1950 with nicely rounded walls, arced BSR triangular bottom handle with an outstanding cooking surface and heat ring. Doesn’t sit quite dead flat (but it’s close) so it probably would be fine on a glass top stove, but to be safe I’d probably save this one for cooking with gas. Glassy to the touch – only flea bite tool marks and a tiny casting flaw.
Marked: “10- Chef” on the bottom of the pan.
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks, chips or wobble when tested on a sheet of glass Cooking surface shows light tool marks, and a couple of casting voids that should fill in and reduce with use.
As always we are happy to take back pieces if you are not 100% satisfied. (Please see return policy)
