Excellent number in diamond skillet size #8 dutch oven. This is one of the pans made after Chicago Hardware Foundry (CHF) acquired the designs and patterns of the Favorite Stove and Range cookware line in 1933-1934. It is identical in appearance to those made pre 1933 by Favorite. Locking lid bail design (basically when the lid is seated properly and the bail is raised it locks the lid in place). Sits flat (Good for a glass top stove). Cooking surface is very good with some minor tool marks that should only improve with use. Some minor casting flaws but very much typical of these pieces
Marked on the bottom with the number “8” in diamond.
Marked on the lid with the number “8” on the interior near the basting rings.
10” 1/4 diameter
Cleaned via lye method, interior is hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks or chips or wobble w when tested on a sheet of glass. Should be a very good user and only improve with use. Cooking surface is smooth and marred only by flea bite tool marks which should smooth over with use. WIll only get better.
As always we are happy to take back pieces if you are not 100% satisfied. (Please see return policy)
