Just a really cool piece – ready for use or display. As perfect an enameled Griswold piece as I’ve ever found. This #67 dates from the 1950s and has almost perfect red and cream enamel. There are some itty bitty flaws in the enamel (see pics) that are almost not visible. Looks like this piece was never even used. No stains or utensil marks. Please note this piece does have a heat ring.
Marked bottom: “67” Followed by the Griswold small logo,on the bottom.
Marked Lid (Interior): “67G”
6” long (handle to handle), 4” 7/8 diameter x ~ 2” 1/8 in height without the lid..
Sold as found.
No cracks or chips, wobble or bow to the iron when tested on glass. Enamel has some tiny imperfections near the edge.

This one is a bit of a mystery piece – we’re not quite sure what it really is. All I can say for sure is that it came out of an old farmhouse barn in CT that was built in 1820. Guesses have included a animal feeder or watering bucket, ash catch tray for under a wood stove, even a refrigerator pan. It might be one of those or something else entirely. In any case it’s a very cool piece. The center hook mechanism is pinned and swings like a hinge upright to an almost 90 degree angle. Oval in shape with one raised side and a slot on the underside where the piece clearly locks into something else. Casting shows a pouring flaw opposite the bottom gate mark. Some minor pitting present Casting quality is good.
Marked: “21-163 on the interior bottom of the bucket part.
11” 1/2 x 10” 3/8 x 4” high
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks, chips. Sits on it’s gate marks so there is wobble when tested on a sheet of glass.
$100 including shipping.

This is a fake. Someone back in the day counterfeited a number of Griswold products including the tea sized corn stick pan which can ordinarily fetch as much as $100. This is one of the fakes and to be fair it’s better than most (and it looked real before cleaning). Take it cheap if you want it.
Marked: “No 282 Griswold Crispy Corn or Wheat Stick Pan, Erie, PA, U.S.A. 625”
8” 1/8 x 4”
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.

Really just a bit of cast iron art. This plate belonged to a cast iron stove and depicts a cabin in the woods among the hills and has a very winterish feel to it. A pretty little piece which just caught my eye as I knew someone would really enjoy it.
14” 1/2 long, 9” 1/4 tall at the high point.

Brass has been lightly polished on this piece, but no other restoration was done.
This is an old tradesman’s spring sale that almost certainly hung in a shop somewhere. This one has a seal at the top saying it is approved by New York City so odds are good that was where it came from. Fully marked. Has a loop for hanging from a shop sealing and a hook for a weighing basket or items. Still surprisingly accurate (not perfect by any means but we tried it at 15 and 30 lbs and it came in darn close both times).
Marked: “Warranted and Made by F. Forschner New York” on main brass face up above the scale itself and right above that is a small 1/2” round seal that reads “Approved type 34 Serial D New York City
Body is 16” 1/2 x ~ 3” 5/8. Width ~ 2” 1/4. Hook roughly 4” 1/2 long.
Lightly polished on the brass but otherwise untouched.

Really a special one. This was a very finely cast deeper spider skillet (skillet with legs) with the rounded bottom (posnet style) made before 1870. Very usable but the piece does have some minor surface imperfections from both casting (voids) and a very light pitting. Bottom gated. Pieces like this probably had tin lids, if they had any at all (although we do have one with an iron lid if you check out piece #1977). Fancier handle shaped much like a duck bill, with a gentle groove on the top. Stands on three legs. Would be great for a Civil War re-enactor.
Unmarked
8” 3/4 diameter (excluding handle)
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks, chips. Cooking surface has some roughness due to casting flaws and light pitting, but most of this will smooth over quickly with use.

Razor sharp! Biggest darn Dexter I’ve ever seen. This one is almost a full 12” . Features 3/4 tang, three rivet scales (handles) and a 5” 1/2 handle with knuckle guard.
Marked “Dexter Southbridge, Mass” etched on the blade, and “38712R Dexter” on the scales.
Knife has been professionally polished and sharpened it is RAZOR SHARP. It may have some nicks and scars from use.
$55 shipped.
*High carbon steel knives are highly sought after knives loved by professional and home cooks alike due to the quality of the steel, the edge it maintains and the hardness that is not matched by other knives. If you don’t believe me, take a look the opinions of Alton Brown. Please note these are NOT stainless steel knives, they do require a little bit of care (prompt washing and drying after use, occasional sharpening, etc), but hey, if you can maintain a cast iron pan you’ll find this a piece of cake. Over time they will develop a patina, and even stain. But they are probably the best quality steel knives you’ll ever use.

Please note all knives have been professionally restored, with the blade polished and sharpened. RAZOR SHARP.
Dexter has become a leader in professional cutlery since being founded in 1884 (they actually produced knives before that but introduced the Dexter name in that year).
I always love Dexter knives, they are true workhorses combining quality steel with great hand feel. This knife was made between 1934-1960 Knife features a 9” blade, which has a lot of backbone, and a dual riveted handle design with a one piece handle secured by two brass rivets. Razor sharp.
Marked: “1387 Dexter on the scales of the handle”
$50 shipped.
