True rare collector piece! Griswold #3 gem pan with full slant logo, Erie, PA markings. This is the rarest of the variations and the most collectable. Ready for use or display this gem is in excellent condition – with it’s only imperfections pouring flaws from the foundry. Underside of the cups are beautifully smoother, while the interior is typical of gem pans that could not be stone polished on the interior. Both handles show factory pouring flaws, and some minor sand mold collapse from the pour. You don’t find many this nice, especially of such a rare piece.
Marked bottom: “942” on the top handle Followed by the Griswold slant logo, then “Erie PA., U.S.A.,” on the body and “No 3” in raised letters/numbers on the lower handle.
11” 1/4 long x 8” 1/2, x 1” tall
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks or chips or wobble when tested on a sheet of glass. Cooking surface is very good.
