This is a nice old scotch bowl made by an unknown foundry probably up in New England. Nice little historical piece. Has some casting flaws (see pics) including an a mold collapse which has made one of the ears lopsided. Interior has a patch of very light pitting.
Marked: “3 V” on the bottom
10” 3/8 diameter ~4” 3/4 tall.
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks or chips. Sits flat on a heat ring when tested on a sheet of glass. Cooking surface is has some light pitting in an area but it could be used and it will only improve with use. That said this should be display piece.
$65 shipped.
As always we are happy to take back pieces if you are not 100% satisfied. (Please see return policy)
