Please note all pictures on our site are of the actual piece you will receive, not a stock photo of a similar piece. Additionally all our pieces unless marked otherwise are fully restored and seasoned. Just wash them and start cooking.
Arc Wagner eccentric kettle made between 1895-1915, over 100 years ago. Nice display piece, although you certainly could put it to use. Nice crisp markings. Tiny bail ears, assist ring and original bail with wood handle (handle is as found). Interior shows moderate pitting over portions. This pan did not really like seasoning, despite multiple layers being applied, so it does have a bit of splotchiness. Still it’s a very cool piece.
Marked: “Wagner” SIdney 8 on the bottom.
10” diameter at the top, 6” 7/8 at the bottom lower ring.
Cleaned via lye method, hand buffed and seasoned with 3 layers of non-GMO canola oil.
No cracks, chips (maybe a tiny old one happened on the rim years ago but there is no chunk missing of the structure wall) or wobble when tested on a sheet of glass. Sits on it’s heat ring. Cooking surface is glassy and looks great. There are some minor tool marks and but those should fill in well with a little use.
